Isabel started her career in health and fitness in the early 90s. Prior to the health industry, Isabel studied and worked in journalism as a a writer and photographer.

Since she moved to Australia, from her home town of Rio de Janeiro 33 years ago, Isabel has found a natural talent and love for assisting her patients in healing and evolving.

In her early 20s, Isabel was a scholar of the ancient Chinese I Ching and Taoist philosophy. In her late 20s, she studied Shiatsu and easily found her way into Chinese medicine as that paradigm was already very familiar to her.

She has a master degree in Chinese medicine from the University of Western Sydney and a bachelor degree in Health Sciences from The University of Technology, Sydney.

During her Chinese medicine studies, Isabel travelled to China several times for work experience opportunities in Chinese hospitals and learning Qi Gong and Tai Chi.

Isabel is an advanced EMDR therapist, IFS and Schema therapy informed therapist, and integrates trance into her work to support her clients in staying grounded in self energy and cultivate higher consciousness for healing.

Nature is an integral aspect of Isabel’s psychotherapy and health balancing work as well as her interest in complex trauma and dissociation as possible core causes of acute and chronic health problems. 

Isabel is currently researching novel and consciousness based therapies and processes to help with addictions and trauma/dissociation and has a great interest in helping her patients restore their health and reach their balanced weight.
